Last September Hurricane Ian devastated Florida. One hit hard was Catalyst Creamery in Grove City, Florida, a maker of vegan cheese containing hempseed. A local grocery store set up a GoFundMe to help the small woman-owned company recover.

“This fundraiser is being created on behalf of Katie Jones, owner of Catalyst Creamery located in Grove City, Florida. Katie has pioneered vegan cheese in our community and has succeeded in making an accessible and delicious product. Katie’s dedication to her craft has allowed her to open a kitchen to support her growing business. After hurricane Ian struck South Florida, her shop is left unrecognizable and in total disrepair. All proceeds will go directly to Katie to support her in any way she may need.

Black Radish Grocer is organizing this fundraiser. We are long-time lovers of Katie and her cheese. The money will go straight to Katie with no in-between and will be used however she needs to be supported.”
